While studying at the Schola Cantorum Basiliensis, Ana Arnaz founded the group La Cecchina, specializing in baroque music.
During her years of study with Dominique Vellard, Ana discovered the music of oral tradition. Together they have been researching the spanish repertoire. The ensemble Vox suavis, in which she performs together with Dominique Vellard and Baptiste Romain, is dedicated to this music.
She has completed several projects with the ensemble Gilles Binchois. One of these was a recording of the Stabat Mater, a piece composed by Dominique Vellard and dedicated to the work of the painter Miguel Mainar.
In 2004 she founded the ensemble Ex luce color together with the american violinist Colleen Jennings. The group builds bridges between contemporary, classical, traditional and early music: several composers have wrote different pieces for the ensemble.
Ana has performed on several tours in the USA, among others with Ex Luce. She has given concerts of renaissance and baroque spanish music, in festivals such as the Houston Early Music Festival and the St. Gaudens Festival.
She has also performed as a soloist in several projects with the Swiss Orquesta Crescendo: the Fauré Requiem, Mendelssohn's Sinphony Number 2 and the Messe Solemnelle of Gounod.
