critique for the program black, brown and white, ex luce
teresa pueyo, diario del altoaragón, march 24th of 2007..

the quality of the interpretation is evident: the control of the sound and the dinamics in the violins, the clarity, articulation and precision of the voice. but the most surprising aspect of the concert is the originality of the program, variety and mise en scene. the complexity of the work they have done and the joy and implication the three musicians transmit during the concert.

critique for the program "francesca caccini", ensemble la cecchina
angelika moths, baslerzeitung, november 30th of 2006

"the soprano ana arnaz seemed to magically become francesca caccini. the concert conveyed an expertise knowledge of francesca's work. two notable caracteristics of the concert were the special sensibility in expressing the text and a delicate interpretation of the ornaments.

the soprano was supported by a ensemble composed of great musicians. the staging, elaborated because the change of instruments, created special sound contrasts: the beauty of the lirone's sound was to be overawed. the pieces with obstinates basses created ideal bridges to keep the tension and to offer to every musician the possibility of playing solo.

given the succes of this concert, the organisation should think about offering this kind of music more often."
